Alandi is a town and a municipal council in the Pune district in the state of Maharashtra, India. The town is popular as a place of pilgrimage and the resting place of the 13th century Marathi saint Dnyaneshwar. Devachi Alandi, meaning god’s place, is situated 25 km from Pune and was built in the 13th century. There is samadhi and a temple dedicated to the saint-poet Dnyaneshwar here. The saint-poet wrote the Dnyaneshwari, the Marathi translation of the Bhagavad Gita.

Alandi is one of the premier residential areas situated in the northern periphery of Pune, from where the famous Indrayani River passes. There has been a surge in the real estate demand in this region, due to its fabulous connectivity to the prominent industrial hub of Chakan and superior infrastructure development. Chovisawadi, Kelgaon, Moshi, Charholi Budruk, Chimbali are some of the areas that are located close to Alandi. Alandi is dominated by multi-storey apartments and lands.
